I just saw a comercial for the new ford Taurus SHO. It's got a 365hp twin turbo V6. Pretty cool, even if it's a ford. They could get some nice power out of those for pretty cheap.

Its too heavy to be a relevant sport sedan, but I still think it will sell...I'm waiting on the Fusion SVT, which is apparently coming up now that the F-150 Raptor is done

That new ecoboost motor will end up in other applications. Like mustang motor swaps and twin turbos in kit cars.

365hp, o-6 in 6.6sec. 1/4 in 15sec i think they could do better... but its a start.... i guess the a6 isnt a lighting bolt out of the box either. it all depends on how much u can tune the engine ,

Not much of a start... The first gen Sho's had a faster 0-60 and 1/4. If this was lighter, and looked better I would like it.

thats weak sauce. Didn't get a good look but assuming thats the A4 w/ the 2.0T..

I don't give a shit how many turbos you put on a Taurus, it is absolutely not gonna walk an A4 like that. Not in a million years. Not with 5 dead hookers in the trunk and a fat guy driving!

i was kinda thinking it was a A6 , i dont think a4's ever had LED's like that ?

lol i love the US manufacturers are all out for the import vehicles... so I assume ford is going after audi? I think companies like ford and GM need to worry about keeping their name above water before they compare themselves to a significantly better brand.

Like GM commercials... they are such a shit hole company and they compare themselves to two of the best and most reliable car manufacturers in the world (honda and toyota)... Every time one of their commercials comes on comparing one of their crappy cars that will break in 4 seconds to honda or toyota i get so irritated.

is that the focus svt in the pic?
And what does the A6 put out? the V8 puts out 350hp

so actually the sho could pass an a6...maybe not on the scale of the commercial...
uhhhh 365 > 350
I'm sorry, i'm not a ford fan either but you gotta give it up to em...they make a Turbo v6 putting more than our A6's v8...
