Ok put the Pagparts ECU in and the fuel pump wouldnt work. I have an adustable fuel pressure regulator and it would read 0 on the guage. The car would turn over but not start. I put the old ecu in and the guage read the pressure and the car started... Idled badly of course since I have the 630cc injectors in.... I think I am owed my money back on the ECU and tune and will persue a different route. Oh but the Immo defeat worked on the new one plus 1 for pagparts I guess

wow thats pretty lame after all your waiting i have no idea how the ecu controls the fuel pump but could that wire have came loose during shipping i know our ecu is very picky about being shocked might be a simple sauter to get it working.

i have awp. I did take a peek at the board in the ecu last night as Arnold suggested it to me but I really didnt see anything. once I get to work I will look into it more. Anyone ever open their ecu up? How do I get the board out to check everything underneath?

A long time DSMer and Dubber that makes top notch turbo kits. Arnold can make one off turbos and is the only one that makes a Tial Vband manifold for the new housing. These are about 5-7lbs lighter, better flow, and are far easier to install everything. He is also i believe the only US eurodyne dealer

i have never opened my ecu up i would hook it up and use a multi meter to find out which wire is not supplying an input to the fuel pump

I opened that bad boy up. It is just a computer board. the chip pretty much is easily removed nothing to it. There is really nothing to check resistance or shorts in. Plus with out a schematic im shooting in the dark to begin with. I think Im gonna send him my stock ecu and ask for a refund on the "bastard" ECU..... The sad part was I ordered the Ecu to save time so I didnt have to send my stock one to him and wait for it to return.. WOW how that backfired in my face!!!

Well I went to the car shop last night... I put the ECU in I got from Arnold and tested it with Vag-com. The Ecu wasnt communicating at all so the whole ecu is bad. Today I will be sending it via Fedex to Tapp in Canada for them to put a new board in it and make sure it works properly before I recieve it back. I just hope this time when I do get it back that all is well and working. Atleast im finished spending money on my car for now. Mechanically it is where I wanted it and how I feel the car should have been built. Anyway thanks for the moral support... Maybe Tapp can save the life of a few more baby seals if they can work this thing out....

Yeah me too I cant blame or be upset with arnold on this one and he is taking I guess. Maybe he is in over his head or too busy with other projects so it is on it way as we speak to Tapp Auto. I just hope there is a quick turn around and a working ecu in my near future. I apologize for the baby seal reference for any greenspan people or what not.
