I was just checking something on google just by chance, this a new forum of course so in order to get new members its mostly gonna be word of mouth. The next big avenue would be using a search engine, searching on google and what not will bring up audiforums very easilly. Knowing google a little bit, my company RX lawn care solutions had to pay the search engine a certain amount of money to get certain amounts of points or privliges to be recognized by google. In other words if you use a key word like "audi" you have to pay for that key word, i think audifreaks should at least have "audi" as a key word on google to aquire new members on here. Just a suggestion though.

Very good suggestion. Once the site builds more content, gets more traffic, more people link to it, and the longer it's up, it will get better results just for that too. The problem with buying keywords is that it becomes very expensive for common words like "audi" and with not much return. Each new site becomes "indexed" by major search engines like google, yahoo, and msn. In time, this sites rankings will become better, and better. There are also stats that allow us to see what phrase anonymous users are typing into search engines to get here, so with that information, we can then use Google's "ad sense" to get the word out like you suggested...

i have an idea. AF doesn't have many DIYs posted right now in that section. let's compile all the DIYs from all the other sites too and then we can link people to here and we'll get more traffic

That was my goal, i just havent gotten around to doing all that yet. Ill be doing that here shortly. If you have any that you want added in, just send me the link and ill add it in.

Yeah i wouldn't mind a set of silver ones if you are gonna make them, just make it more like a decal without the white background :)
