I am now on my 3rd phone, well type, 4th to be technical since joining Tmobile for work. I had a Samsung gravity which did the job, but it had a glitch in the sw and the phone book didnt work. Brought that one back and replaced it with the same phone, 2 wks later the screen starts to flicker and i bring this one back again. So i got sick of this crap and upgraded to a blackberry pearl. Great right? Nope. I cant check my email or get on aim etc w/o having to spend an extra fee each month that no one told me
So now since i have been selling left over parts from my car (most just for shipping and another $3-5 for my efforts) so i just ordered a Nokia N81 which i know will do everything i need since my brother has the N95 which is a slightly nicer version.
To put things in prospective, i had 2 phones that both lasted me 3-4yrs each on other plans. I hope im good for some time now.
So, anyone want a Pearl 8120 for a good price? :thumbup1:

not my choice. I liked my verizon but i like being able to have just about any phone i want and not have to pay for service. Being up almost $50 a month is fine by me.

Free T-mobile > paying $46/mo for verizon
Not to mention i can get just about any phone i want and did. The N81 is far better than anything you can get with verizon. The only thing i miss about verizon is the signal was always better.... well, except here at "work". The house is like a dead zone and with tmobile i have great service, so switching was a must.

There is nothing that verizon offers now besides the storm that can come close to what my N81 can do. Plus i dont have to pay for the fee that eveyone else pays just to use a BlackBerry (reason i got a new phone). I dont pay for web time when on wifi, can use t-zones if there is no wifi, free email w/ alerts, rather large screen to watch movies, headphones have music controls and phone answer on it. Not to mention i can dl apps like they do for iphones w/o having a iphone. Plus im still not willing to deal with touch screes since they take far more effort. Just sucks my phone cost so much, but it eliminated my ipod nano also.
If i didnt have t-mobile, i wouldnt be able to make cell calls from the house/office. My verizon service here sucked so bad, and it was just inside the house, dont know why. I delt with this YEARS ago when i had sprint and i moved to an apt. Phone never worked in there until i got verizon. So the cycle just keeps happening i guess.

See, if you had a nicer phone and different service, you can use the internet for free and download programs that let you sign on AIM and other IM;s and pay nothing per message.

Welp, my day just picked up. After finding out my damn bushings were the wrong ones, it still turned out pretty good. My pearl was on ebay and it is currently at $102.50 with just under 2 days left. The nice part is someone just offered $200 to end my auction early. This means i spent $200 for the phone myself, got a $100 mail in rebate and just made $100 on a phone i used for like 3wks. Pretty kick ass.
