I am planning on buying this for my daily. It looks gorgeous in person. Sounds sexy as hell. Very very clean.

Issues that i'd need to fix though. the passenger side window would roll down, but not back up (it has a car cover on it in a garage so i'm not too worried till i go and pick it up). Window switch? It would roll down just fine.

The E-brake does not work. Guessing it'd need a new cable run through. Nothing is seized so I don't believe it'd need new calipers.

Car's engine could be eaten off of it was so damn clean. He said that he keeps the engine bay as clean as the exterior. No rust, not corrosion even that i could see.

he's asking 5k for it, kbb put it at about 4-4.5k

and i answered in the chit chat thread.

e-brake cables are a cinch. there are one for each side. get under the car you will see. they hook onto a bar that is hooked to the ebrake handle lever thing. then they just go to the rear calipers.

i really had to work my rear calipers after i put new cables on, to get them to work. pushing and hold the brake pedal and THEN pull ebrake is what i think i did to finally get them adjusted right.

but for awhile i couldnt figure it out. i could see the caliper moving but not enough.

it'll be a fun car for sure.

windshields, i think there may be 10 left in USA? and spendy too.

remember, there were less than 1700 of these sent to USA in 1990 + 1990. TOTAL. so parts are rare... i have seen 3 crushed in the past year and a half, just local to me.

and i have 2. woulda had a 3rd twice if i had room for another car. one was $600 (parts car) and one was a driver for $1500.

i'm seeing quite a few parts cars on the vortex. there's around 6 other cq's for sale on there. this one just happens to be the nicest out of all of them with the least miles and the best taken care of.

i could not believe how good looking these cars were. (i had never seen one till that garage door opened and he took the car cover off it)

oh, and it doesn't need a windshield...? It would suck to have to replace it yes, but thank god this one looked good. haha.
