I got tired of my ugly engine bay and since I am on a strict budget at the moment I picked up a few simple things to clean up the engine bay.

First, I cleaned up the valve cover, painted it with Engine red enamel, and wrapped the coil harness in some DEI heat shield wrap. Ignore the ricey Turbo badge as I plan on taking it off. I also had some sheet Aluminum left over from my failed attempt to make an undertray and diffuser. I sat down with my rivet gun and made a battery box. Two parts that slide together and left some openings for the cables. This morning I used some more sheet to make a custom heat shield for my HKS filter and extended the Filter out closer to the fender. Just need to tidy up the edges and call it a day!

I'm giving him a A+ times are tough and you still find a way to work on your car! Passion! Later on when you get some more $$ you can dress it up more.

Good effort, but do something with the edges, that is a bloody cut waiting to happen

I plan on getting something to dress the edges a bit, but thanks for the kind words.
