anyone have any idea how to tear down the vent assembly? I'm doing the work on my vent assembly swap, and I'm trying to install my liquidTT. I need to find out how to remove the runner of the vent from the round vent housing(so I can mount my liquid). MCP, where you at?

the internal moving fins pull out easily with pliers for the piece held in by those four rows of teeth just use 4 screwdrivers as wedges to release the teeth and then pull

I just used side cutters for the bastard teeth.
Picture a monkey trying to open a coconut. That's what I looked like trying to get mine apart!!

Hahaha
I was thinkin at work today. You could just use a gromit sleeve(the sleeves that are in holes on computer desks for the power cords)like a 3" gromit. Cuz that's all your after.... That and the silver face thing

You have to pry it hardcore...using like multiple screwdrivers at once lol. I think clothes pins work well too for keeping it pried.

Personally I HATE dismantling vents, ALWAYS feels like I'm going to break it.
