CEL coming on, then off, then on....

Well i know its a P1136, and its a weird one at that. I can go for weeks even months without that little sucker and then one day, the CEL comes right back on, stays for about a day or two, then the cycle starts all over.

Now from what i understand, if you make enough starts without any problems the CEL will remove itself. Im almost certain i dont have a Vac leak, and my MAF seems perfect as well. May use some MAF cleaner just for the hell of it

Any ideas on why it goes back and forth all the time?

Yes on the starts. But its like 100 some starts?

You know, im not sure about the number of starts right off the bat......i had mine turn on an off in almost the same day, so its all up in the air lol. Yea, i saw MAF cleaner at a friends house and had no idea they made that stuff!! lol

Iv never heard anyone use it either? Iv had cel's come on/off same day. Turn out bad sensor. Not sayin urs is bad. Might just need a cleaning

IMO. Not very often. Just cuz you run the risk of goofin the maf up
