was kinda wondering how it will better my car? Throttle response/HP/cooling the turbo. And also will the stock DV and MAF work with these things.

It will only improve the looks and if the stock hoses are in bad shape, reliabilty. It wont do anything for power, cooling, anything else. Its the same diam as the other hoses so the stock dv and maf will fit

Ahah. I mean is this normal. At a stop,when I mash the gas , no joke about 3sec I finely get power. Tho's 3+sec are like I'm letting a clutch out slow then bam! finely get going.

I think it is a must have item if you are chiped and looking to max out your stock turbo :cool:

I put a TIP on my k04 and it gave better throttle control/response, and I definetly gained a few hp (it felt "stronger"). The stock TIP on the 180 is an even bigger difference - the Forge silicone TIP is on the left, the stock two-piece metal/rubber is on the right:

I noticed a dfference with my TIP. Not much, but quicker throttle response.

There's TIPs on eBay for like $90, I'm betting ALL OF THEM including Forge etc are made in China anyhow...

Yep, the only one you can't get on eBay is a TIP for the 225 with a BEA engine, them only sell the earlier AMU version

I am going to go for the Ebay one and see what happens. I feel I def. need one though.

Last thing I need is more throttle response and noise though. any quicker through 1st and second and they will be useless

i believe i have the forge TIP and kit, makes the engine look nicer imo, i'm surprised the forge hose kit doesn't include it. I didn't see it in the included list. turbo outlet pipe but not inlet.

Well do you have an aftermarket intake. If so... having the new TIP and DV, ohhh lord, you'll sound like an airplane gettin ready to take off. It doesnt sound like an Evo or Sti style pushhhhh, but i personally think ours sounds more manly lol. However, turbo spool sounds wild!!

yeah, when i put in my k04 i only bought a Samco TIP, im sure it really didn't do anything but what ev.

^ i cut up my hose from the charge pipe to the DV and couldn't find me a stocker at the time so i said F it and got the 5 piece silicone. it was on sale @ 20 squared for $130. dope.

bought the EBAY TIP in black... $65 shipped to my door. Will be matted with a cleaned MAF and K&N drop in. Figure that should clear its throut a little bit.
