I guess I can put mine.

I am a "Business Intelligence Consultant for Federal Law Enforcement". I currently work at FBI HQ in DC, but as a whole I also work for DOD, CIA, DOJ, DHS, FEMA, and pretty much any other federal agency.

Speaking of, we are hiring for those of you who don't mind moving to DC and have the right college degree! I take resumes (referral bonus!).

Any IT or Business degree. Just have to be professional, be able to get a security clearance, and good at whatever you do.

Actually the company is hiring pretty much any position... from artists to intel.

Nice Tmoney! I mean DD's  ha. thankfully this last year the only painting i have been doing is trying on colors for people. I mostly just get supplies for the crews, and drive from job site to job site; chat it up with the crew/ homeowner for 20 min. then move on and repeat... I get to see some sweet cars people own, The guy who owed that one in the pic has a BMW M6, Porsche GT3, and an Audi S6 (v-10) for the wife.

what about a criminal justice degree? I'm almost done with my 2 year degree and unless I run across a amazing job, I'll be continuing with my bachelors. I do hope to work in a federal department and don't mind moving anywhere... just get me out of south carolina!!

I work in the Fraud Department at 5/3 Bank. The job is interesting, the hours are consistent, the pay is decent and well, with the economy the way it is I have plenty of job security (people tend to resort to Fraud when money gets tight...)

I've got a bachelor's degree in Business Admin and will be going back to get a master's in either Criminal Justice or Accounting/Finance. I'd like to work my way up into Fraud Investigation and eventually my goal is to work for the White Collar Crime department of the FBI (but only if I can work here in Cincinnati as I am unable to move to DC...)

Continue working towards your Bachelors, but in the mean time... perhaps an internship?

PM me with your email address if you are interested.

I'm on the last two months of my teaching certification, and already have a history degree, so I'm hoping/praying I get a job this fall. Good play and benefits, pretty easy job, and summers off (hello mega wrenching session :D) All I have done up to this point is fucking awful part-time $8/hr retail jobs, and I HATE WORKING RETAIL. If you've ever seen "Clerks" you kind of get the idea, but in reality there are way more retarded people out there than the movie can show, along with angry douchebags who try to pick fights (usually about a $3 item), soccer moms who surprise me with the fact their shoes are tied correctly, and people who cannot decide between a fine-tip or medium-tip pen. I hate how all of this country's laws are based on the lowest common denominator, we need some Darwinism up in the bitch!

Cool, a thread for business plugs!!

Fast-Fix Jewelry and Watch Repairs

I'm the manager, master watch tech, and one of the jewelers. I also babysit ADD employees, re-write the schedule when everyone shows up 10 minutes late every friggen day, and pacify the occasional disgruntled customers.

Before that, I worked for Porsche, Audi, and VW. Those were easier days... I wish I had known that then!

I say lay the smackdown, my 7th graders need a good scolding once a week to just not act like they're 8 years old. Suspend/fire the worker who is always latest or the worst, and I guarantee the others will fall right into line :D

What DOD stuff are you guys working on?

It's pretty cool at work sometimes. We have a long-term Humvee with a next-generation hybrid-drive system and a nasty chain gun setup that's usually either parked out back or cruising around on powertrain trials, and we've had a Stryker in-house for awhile doing some development work. That is one mean machine. When they brought it in, they were going to drive it to the plant, but they were afraid of creating a panic on the main streets, so they trucked it in. Shoulda driven it with the guns uncovered:)

I worked in manhattan doing big projects...

The market has been crap, and only a few of the projects were able to get / keep funding.
Unfortunately my projects were among the ones that were put on hold, and so was I.
