Turn left, turn right it squeeks, it squeek when its moving or stationary. it squeeks if the car is idleling, it squeeks if the engine is off.
I crawled under, my buddy turned the wheel, the squeek is coming from the area under where the brake booster thing is (next to the battery on the drivers side). not around the suspension. we did not have the socket to take the bottom of the dash off to see if it was inside or outside the car. that will be tomorrow or this weekends chore.
but does anyone know what would cause my squeek or what I should look at.....its not a mouse, we ate him.
Thanks.

Push down on the fenders, if you can hear a squeak replace the upper control arms.
It squeaks when the engine is off? How the hell does that happen?

if its not the upper control arms maybe your just low on power steering fluid? it gives a little squeak noise and u can feel it become harder to turn.

its not low on fluid, I put the car on "auxilary" and had it on jack stands, the engine was not on, we turned the steering wheel and it squeeks, I did the fender push, it does not squeek. and no, it does not become harder to turn, its the same since i bought it , almost 4 years ago, it just makes an annoying squeek, the squeek gets worse when its hot out, and almost goes away in the chilly mornings.
its wierd.

Have you replaced the tie rods before?

no i have not, car has 110,000 kms, the sound more in the centre of the car.
its funny, when i am close to having it paid off, some sort of repair seems to be in need.

Well a tie rod usually isn't a repair, its preventative maintenance. You should have factored in repairs like control arms and tie rods as needed like an brake change. Replace the tie rods and any other control arms that need replacing, i would bet the upper control arms are shot as well. Have an alignment done after replacing the tie rods.
