So i was at my friends body shop, picing out a 3.2 front bumper. the confusing part is, whats the diference between the S line 3.2 bumper, and the 3.2 bumper? other than the 3.2 (non S line) being almost 1/2 the price.

I would guess the price is the only diffrence. pretty sure all the 3.2s have the same bumper

There was a guy on AF, he had gotten into a front end crash and needed to replace his bumper. He has a 3.2 TT and I think he ordered an S-Line bumper but it wouldn't fit his car. Here is link to that thread: http://audiforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=124867&page=3
Edited: You saw that post on AF warranty225cpe

As far as I know, in the US the 3.2 is the S-Line model. They used to have the 180, the 225, then the 3.2 was the 260hp "S-Line". I've never heard of a non S-Line 3.2 here. There is a European "Quattro Sport" model, but it appears to only use different grills.
ETKA only gives me one part number for the 6-cylinder bumper cover. Also I think that guy's shop was probably just being lazy to fit the Reiger kit he was trying to install...ETKA indicates no difference in bumper parts for the 3.2 TT as opposed to the 1.8T models apart from the cover itself and the grills.
I'm sure vette will elaborate on this since he just got a 3.2 bumper but I'm pretty sure it's a direct bolt on for any TT.

Well, the 3.2 front bumper was $500+, and the s line was over 1000$. That's why I'm asking. If I can get his price(%30less) for a 3.2, I would jump on it.

So would I, id surely jump on that! I was always under the impression that there was only one type of 3.2 bumper. Lukcy you!, your actually able to go and find one, heck the ebay and ttstuff will only sell the 1200 dollar one

3.2 = S-line
The only non-vr6 TT to get the bumper was the Quattro Sport TT from Europe. From what they guy that sold me mine said there are two small metal brackets that the 3.2 requires, but otherwise its a bolt-on (ie, you don't need new crash bars or any other crap). I'll let you know once I get mine on, so like 2011 :tongue_smilie:

My price on the bumper would be 25-30% off of retail. I might buy one anyway.
