How to Remove License Bracket?

Well title says it all. Im not up for buying a brand new bracket when they cost 60$. So i wanted to take mine off, sand it down, and repaint it. Problem is , I cant get the Euro Piece in the front bumper out which holds the riveted bracket in place. I was about to use a screw driver, but told myself to wait it out and get some info before destroying the paint. Any ideas would be great...or better yet, PICTURES OF IT BEING TAKEN OFF

The front cover just takes you to get your fingers behind it and pull. No tools needed

so i can just pull it out ???? that sounds too easy,, am i missing something??? lol I dont see how or where i can get my finger behind it, i dont even think a piece of paper could slide in there hahah

It just pulls right out. It does take some force to do it. That is unless the front plate is attached through both the cover and the bumper which it may/may not. If you need a flathead to lift it up some for your fingers, thats fine, then just PULL!! LOL People get scared and dont need to be

awesome!! yea... looks like some redneck where i lived hit my license bracket with a shopping cart which scuffed it up pretty good. I was going to take it off for a light sanding then a fresh coat of paint haha. Its also alil bent believe it or not, so time for my handy man project
