Some unwanted attention lol

Do any of you guys experience any of that while driving. I drive like a grandma and really don't ask for much extra attention. I've had a couple recent drives where I'm bombarded by guys in what i like to call "special tuned racing vehicles" which find it man-ly to show off their pep-boys investments. Its usually done in a rude manner where they get up on your tail to examine what they think is a "TT"= twin turbo badge.... then they do the high rpm flyby which distracts me from listening to 50's hot song--"I like the way she do it" .
Next is the worst part from my point of view----they will wait for you until your right next to them and just wait for you look over( i find this the most awkward 20 seconds of my life lol). Its almost like they want you to pay tribute to there rudeness. I love cars with a passion , but i do find it hard to love the drivers they obtain lol.

PS- i didnt wanna sound like a hot-shot writing that. I totally understand that im not driving a Ferrari haha, but the attention is there lol

I get that crap too. I don't get tho's guys. Whatever I guess. As long as nothing from there P.O.S hits my car, they can look as stupid as they want! Just give em a thumbs up and be on my way!!

It happens to any fast looking car. I had some dude in a turbo prelude annoy me for about 5 miles on day. The worst around here are the civic kids and the shitstang white trashers. If you are parked, they rev and drive retarded to get your attention. Very lame

i get it a ton, probably mainly because i have a Rieger body kit on there, that doesn't help either. i also just let them do whatever and look dumb, they usually get bored quick and stop though. and every once in a blue moon ill play with them if i know i can win, lol.

yea my experience today was with a lowered bright yellow mazda rx-8. It had some sweet wheels and some blacked out windows. Which made it hard to see who was driving. A lot of times ive experienced people acting like this with their Gf's in the passenger seat(example about a month ago with a pornstar dude in his sexy cayman-s ====i gave it to him though hahah)

hahahahha i know what you mean, there is a silver one where i lived but the exterior is falling apart. He came up to every stop light for atleast 3 miles and turned it into the biggest drag race possible, even thought no one was trying to race him. I was a couple cars behind him in another lane and the BOV on that thing rang my ears( i had my windows rolled up too. However, he was burning oil like a mad man, all you could see was smoke from his gigantic exhaust

i dont get it in my car but my brother gets it almost daily in his mr2. He doesnt usually pay any attention but there have been a few times when i am with him he will... Just depends on if he feels like making them look stupid or not i guess. We both just like to mod our cars and drive them. Neither of us have even tracked our cars lol! He wants to take his to a road coarse some time but he doesnt like beating on it so i hasnt haha.

i get this all the time too. i guess since my car is flat black and i have exhaust that means ill 'race' every car i see. haha. i usually just keep doing what im doing and dont bother with them. the civics are the worst. if the road is empty enough, ill take off once and a while, just to put a mile between us, then wait 5 mins for them to catch up and keep trying to race haha.

im not gunna lie ive played with some fast cars before, but its usually discussed somewhere before hand, not on the fly at a traffic light during rush hour haha.

hahaha i have a follow up on mine. The same yellow rx-8 is stalking me. I went into best buy to get the new guitar hero world tour, and right when i was crossing the street to go in, i see wild man in his bright yellow car with atleast 2 subwoofers blasting my ears off. Right after i walked in front of him he took off in a pedestrain walk area. He let me know that hes back hahaha

HAHA, i know that exactly... Had a guy pull up next to me at a light in a MK4 GTI. He had an exhaust dump on it too because his car was really quite then he looked at me and i looked at him and then his car got really loud. Light turned green we both floored it and away i went (to about 10 over the speed limit) then slowed down again and he went by me... next light was red and he pulled up next to me again... this time i looked over to see his GF laughing her head off at the guy... who had a really pissed off look on his face. That made my day. HAHA

Yeah the honda kids out here are a constant annoyance, everyone gets up next to you and just stares at you until you look back at them, then the BS begins. Thats why i loved having my windows tinted 5% all the way around on my S4 so no one could see me, i can't wait to get my fronts tinted on my A4!!! I don't mind the fix it ticket.

hahahahha yea see id be much happier with super tinted windows. That way i could look at them all i want(like you mentioned above). Its something that makes me feel uncomfortable about someone pulling up next to me and just waiting for me to look.

Irish TT- my problem around here is a group of guys that are in a so called "race club". They all have these special stickers on there cars that represent there membership and all they do is come up on you and give you hell. Half of them are still in highschool, the other half just cant drive. The big shot/leader has a Red Evo. The rest of his clan just follows him around and helps gang bang any fairly nice car there is around at the time.
My idea of a race club is more of just a get together group, talk about problems, mods , women...basically what we are doing in here right now. Its these people who watched Tokyo drift too many times and now think they are big shots that mess the whole thing up.

Yeah we had car gangs here awhile ago. The hondas would go around and beat the hell outta other import tuners(baseball bats,bricks, rip parts off, spray paint). But now these lil miata's just rip the hell outta the streets. Its funny watching em. I just though they were becoming the new civic's.

Yea those lil miata's, Theres a special addition turbo version that i know off, but most of the time you dont see those(pretty nice though). yeah i live in a pretty fun area for kids like that. but the funny thing is alot of em are actually done nicely. the crx's especially when they have the b 16's in em. they look like poo but run good. i go to a tech school so there all over. i have been running into a lot of new corollas that want to race on the freeway and they are so slow its retarded. i thought the s on the back would stand for something maybe it is just slow.

these people who do this are bord and want to entertain them selves while driving. i will admit to doing this a few times. for me its only a way to play i guess.

ohh geez i ran into some kid from high school last nite, the entire time i was chillin he was like 'we should go out in your(my) car and mess w/ people' i just kept saying no, i dont do that for fun in my car. then before he left i asked what kind of car he had and (make sure your sitting for this) it was a 'WoRkyD HoNdAA YooOO'. i proceded to laugh and walk away.
