Won't start...

01. 1.8 225 tt coupe. AMU

started 5times one day..went to start again and it just clicks like 1000 times rapidly..gauges do a little moving...spedo jumbos to like 50, etc. will do it over and over..battery seems to have full juice..tried to jump it with my truck, same thing happened..any help please ??starter soleniod? alternator wire? somethhing to do with the big wire box that sits on the battery ??



Connection seems ok...charged battery, put on new starter and solenoid...any other starter solenoids? Like a second one somewhere, not the one that sits ontop of starter?
I'm getting 12v from battery, and all wires and fuses ontop of battery.
I'm getting 12v from the 3 pins where the plug ontop of battery plugs in..nothing from plug itself...all this right??
I reached down to alt and touched something that gave me 12v as well...
Any fuses I'm looking for or other connections?.
Battery date is olddddd I'm thinking I may buy a new battery next just for shIts and giggles
Again I'm getting a very rapid clicking....any ideas..?..

I'd change out that old ass battery and start there.
